Are you making a game in Unreal and do you want to implement a day/night cycle, but have found that a Sky Atmosphere and a Directional Light aren't really giving you what you want, but that some of the other solutions that are available are either more complex than you need, or too expensive, or both?

Here's a simple drop-in day/night cycle solution that includes mostly accurate seasonal procession of the Sun and stars based on latitude, and an 8K star field image from NASA imagery. (Sorry, no Moon. At least not yet. No promises, though)

Includes built binaries for Unreal Engine 5.0-5.4

(This plug-in is also available open source under an MIT license without built binaries and only a 4K sky image from my github.)

Includes the public domain 8K and 4K Celestial Coordinate Deep Star Map 2020 from the NASA Scientific Visualization Studio (https://svs.gsfc.nasa.gov/4851/#media_group_319116

NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center Scientific Visualization Studio. Gaia DR2: ESA/Gaia/DPAC. Constellation figures based on those developed for the IAU by Alan MacRobert of Sky and Telescope magazine (Roger Sinnott and Rick Fienberg)
